It seems there are so many things wrong with the way Brady Lake Village BLV) is being run,by the BLV clerk gang,we need yet another blog site. Actually the car in front had expired plates, but the officer remembered Jerry Sandusky's twin brother doesn't like the police enforcing traffic laws so he decided to use discretion. Just another night in Boyleville

I suggest you do a public records request so you can actually post something factual for a change. I volunteer my time to provide a service to a small community that other comparable communities are usually not afforded. I have a real job, in a real city, make real money, have a real Bachelor's degree from a real college, have real certifications, and have been commended on my approach to law enforcement. I have had people I've arrested thank me, not for arresting them, but for treating them with respect despite their mistakes. Some of these people still wave and say hi to me to this day. I suggest that the next time you see a police officer try not to look at them as just a badge and uniform; we're people too. Your generalizations are unappreciated.
And for your reference, in the State of Ohio pursuant to 2935.03(E) ORC:
Officers have jurisdiction on any portion of any street or highway adjacent to the boundaries or the officers territorial jurisdiction for the purpose of enforcing: chapter 4511, chapter 4513, 4503.11 - Expired registration, 4503.21 - Two plates required (ie no front plate), 4549.08 - Fictitious license plates, and other traffic laws (case law State v. Jones, State v. Weideman).
"Portion of any street or highway" means ALL lanes of the street or highway IRRESPECTIVE of direction of travel, including designated turn lanes, and any berm, median, or shoulder.

Why am I not surprised your still trying to justify your convoluted views. I think you should re-read MY post. If you're going to use what I say, at least get it correct. What you state I wrote is not what is written. "I have had people I've arrested thank me, not for arresting them, but for treating them with respect despite their mistakes". Read that one over a few times and consult a grammar book if needed. In other words, despite being arrested they have thanked me for treating them with respect. The sentence states that they're not thanking me for arresting them, but that they're thanking me for treating then with respect despite having to be arrested. Your mistake is your interpretation based on your inability to form and/or comprehend complex sentences. Furthermore, you should invest in The Ohio Revised Code for dummies. Last time I checked the Portage County Sheriff didn't write the ORC, so you should try and really comprehend the statute I cited in my previous post; it is a procedural law in the state in which you reside in.
And it's apparent by your posts that your incapable of intelligent conversation, so this is where I stop trying to explain facts to an individual who only sees things from his convoluted view.

I doubt you could make it on the sheriff's department,they don't use Gooberville rules.
While you Gun-Ho BLV cops are trying to hand out tickets outside BLV,and hanging out at places outside BLV,with the BLV cop cars,you might ask yourself this.
I'm I driving the BLC cop car with the Auto-Zone brake job,or the car with the non-working air bags.

PCSO is a joke and a half too. They aren't "real" police. Go to Cleveland, Columbus or Cincinnati and see what the police there deal with on a daily basis. Those are REAL cops. PCSO has a Franklin twp detail from 8pm to midnight. They pull lots of people over and indeed write tickets under a county ordinance. Ticket money for the county. And the deputies are nothing more than a bunch of hill jacks wearing a uniform. Pathetic in my book

Bean Pole Barney seems to know all there is to know about being a cop.
Most of the BLV cops are ONLY there to hold their commission. They understand it's small, low call volume, But it's better than working similar places that require you to work 32-40 hours a month for FREE and they decide what days you work. And a lot of those other small places run mayors court so they get double the ticket revenue. Free police coverage and double ticket money.. Win Win situation for them.
We've decided the tall skinny BLV cop who drives the Black Mustang,with the cop plates,and doesn't know the boundry lines of BLV,should be named.

Portage county is like entering a different world, but I really do enjoy working with the guys at the SO. I could leave anytime I want, they're not holding my commission and I have no obligation to stay there, but I enjoy the small village atmosphere.. its a nice break and a change of scenery. As to Brady Lake not being a real place, that's not what I said. There's a lot of vast differences between working in a city versus a village, like new cars every 3 years and a $3 million and change yearly operating budget. And we all know Brady Lake isn't paying for that mustang.

Dan, what you don't realize is that a lot of the guys actually agree with you on a lot of things, although we can't do much about it. Take that for what it's worth.
